With Mentara, Doris Brandenberger supports people and projects that win her heart. For her new company we developed the logo, from the first sketch to the final files for print and web.
About the project
The idea
The name combines “mente”, the mind, and “mentore”, the mentor. From five designs Doris chose the open circle: a brushstroke in lake blue that stays open at the top. Inside sits a dot in the shade of stone pine, like the sun over the mountains.
The logo system
The logo comes in landscape and portrait, with and without the line beneath, plus the symbol on its own and a favicon version. Every version is ready in colour, reversed and single-colour, for screen and print.
