Since the first edition in 2022, Joël has been Head of Constructions at SunIce, and with him BRAND & BERGER takes care of the festival build. Together with the festival’s art director we define the look & feel and build it with our own crew, in St. Moritz in winter and in Ascona in summer.
About the project
Our job
Together with the festival’s art director we define how SunIce feels. Then we organise the build and direct the crew on site, from the first design to teardown.
What we build
Decoration and the entrance area, wooden structures such as the large letters on the beach, the tipis with disco balls, the swing, hammocks and pallet lounges. We set up every BRAND & BERGER build, from the “S” to the gondola, plus banners, DJ booths and the lounges at the stages.
And when things get tight
Something is missing just before doors open, or something goes differently than planned? Then we sort it out. We’ll make it happen.
